« on: September 02, 2006, 12:20:05 pm »
Hi All
I have a got a job today cleaning guttering and Fascia.
Could i use my WF Trolley.
The plastics are dirty and show parts gone green.

Or iis best to get up my ladder and scrub like mad?

It also as a pitch roof going around most parts of the house

To use the WF system for this type of clean, do u still only use pure water?

by using a trolley you will use far too much pure water which is not needed, tap into the outside tap (as i do) it works just as well and also gives you more pressure.

I did one last week useing wfp, the first i've done, came up ok, but you can't get behind the guttering, it didn't realy matter on this job as it wasn't that dirty but I could see it being a problem on a realy dirty fascia.

It was this big.

the best way to clean them is by using a pressure washer.
Cleaning by hand just doesnt do a good job really. You cant get into all the nooks and crannies.
Cleaning with wfp is ok, it does the job, but it is hard work! Especially cleaning all the soffets.(i think thats how you spell it) you really need to let the water soak in first though. Or ideally you could do it in the rain, that will soften all the dirt up before hand, making it quicker to get off.
