Squeaks, (Roger) couldn't knock that many houses out in a day.

He's quick, but not grease-lightening; (I've watched him work) also he knocks on his customer's doors before cleaning and if they're not in, he doesn't clean them.

That must waste some time; although Rog calls it 'good practice'.

He only works about 6 hours a day too; 3 on a Friday; so I guess 30 houses is really out of the question.

Regards

Tosh

I think he cleans the ones who'll send him a cheque, but the ones that won't he leaves; or something.

But I'm sure this just primes the customer to say, 'Not this month, mate', which he also accepts; according to previous posts.

Sod that.
No quick money, no clean.

I don't work long enough to do 30 houses.

The most you could do an hour consistantly all day is about 3 and a bit.
So if you say 7 every two hours, then that's an 8 hour day. :o

I'm not that desperate for cash!

Oh, and Tosh.
You've never seen me knock out a whole house.
It's not squeegee speed, it's the whole technique and organisation.
Might not look exceptionally quick, but as a job I fly through.

Squeaks,

Cant you get someone to video you doing a house. Then put it onto the internet so we can all see you in action.

I dont know weather you would label it as .

1.  A thriller.

2. A comedy.

3. A who dun it.

You're right, mate.  But I've seen you clean the houses in Hardwick Avenue, and you can't reach the dormers (like I can); so no; I've not seen you clean a whole house, because there's windows you can't get to with JUST your ladders.

Since I use ladders and a WFP, there's not many I can't get too.

It's not squeegee speed, it's the whole technique and organisation.

Does part of this technique and organisation include knocking to ask permission to clean first?  That must be time consuming, especially when they say, 'Nah, not this month, Mate'.

Tosh

As I've said a thousand times, there's loads of windows on those houses you couldn't wfp.
You wouldn't have enough hose to get round the backs of 5 houses, and not enough in your backpack.

VERY rare. My customers are happy to see me.

Same here JM. I know nothing as been removed from this thread that I can see. But what as been written that could cause offence I am at a loss to explain. Their is some joyvial banter going on. Come on its an adult forum.

Perhaps its Trevor being a bit over zealous.

I would like to see a video of Squeaks in action to see if hes as fast as he says he his. If he his then fair play to the youngster. A lot of wfp bashing as been written by our good Mr Squeaks, so I would like to see how fast and proficient he his at trad wc.

Guy's all I am simply saying is as long as it stays fun and light hearted then there is no problem.

There have been similar postings before that have got out of hand and personal.

Was just a polite request to keep thing as they are and not being over zealous!
