Mark,

Have a look at www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk there in Nottingham, speak to Matt ,he runs some very good value courses and his customer service is excellent.

Thanks for that Arthur.

Are there any intense courses closer to home, near Leeds that you could reccomend?

Hi Mark, I'm in york and have also looked into this.

Extracta do a good hands on course (So I'm told) And John Kelly who is on the forum is planning a hands on introductory course for, I think, September

They're both newcastle way out so not too far to travel.

Hope this helps

I did mine with Ashbys, they were excellent, but the NCCA also do some along with Prochem. Both Prochem and Ashbys do equipment, but the NCCA is a governing body.

The first day of ashbys is more or less all practical. Second day is technical and third is marketing. It's run by a chap called Derek who is really knowledgable - he definatley know his subject.

I found the Extracta course a good all round course, it had a bit of everything
i think that was the problem, as theres to much to fit in to a day, you really need a couple of days training minimum in my opinion

We will be running an Introduction to carpet cleaning course soon. Looks like it is going to be October now. Still got a few things to iron out but should have final dates shortly.
This will be a 2 day course with carpet identification, cleaning systems, basic stain removal among others and chance to get hands on feel with various kit including truckmount.
It will be restricted to 8 people.
