Domestic contract
« on: August 10, 2006, 05:50:51 pm »
I have been asked if I can do a contract for cleaning the carpets of a large house every six months to include unlimited spot cleans as and when required in between.

Not got any on contract at the moment & would appreciate any help on pricing this on a yearly basis !

Also any help on wording for the contract !  ???

price of clean, plus price of protection if wanted, add a interval clean every six months work out the total for the year and divide into 12 monthly payments.

have them set up a direct debit to your account for this ammount.
no contract needed, if they change there mind they stop paying and you stop cleaning, simple.

I think its the norm to spot clean free with one of these sort of contracts.

Put a reasonable usage clause into the spot cleaning element of the agreement - otherwise they will have you jumping and dancing to their tune. If protector is applied I GRANT 2 FREE spot & stains visits only to areas teated for the following 12 months with a reasonable usage clause.

Thanks for replies.

I am going to limit the number of spot cleans per year & charge call out for any additional.

Customer says carpets have protector on them but has only been in the house 3 months so does not know how old it is !
