Put a leaflet out last October and had a call today for a job.

Amazing how long these people keep them for

Did a job last week, guy had the leaflet for at least 18 months.

Regularly get calls from those sent out last year.

Just spent an hour putting a few leaflets out and got bit by a dog .Beware dont put your fingers right in the letter box when pushing the leaflet in.Have put 1,000's out and this is a first. The dog did not make a noise or even bark.

Ouch

If you put some info on yor  personel file people might help.
Alot of c/c  wont give much info incase you are on their door step, but if your a million miles away they will usually oblige

Take a look at www.leafletsforyou.co.uk  .

You should get a good idea on leaflet design etc Click on samples 5 onwards as I could not get 1 to 4 to open.

As you have been doing Carpet Cleaning for years, I would be interested in knowing how you have obtained your customers so far.

hi Ian. thanks for the advice and i will be checking out leaflets for you. as for my c/c customers, i have acquired them over years of trading as a supplier, fitter and cleaner of carpets. however i have never pushed the cleaning aspect until now so just cleaned carpets as and when ive had time. usually they have seen the signwriting on vans etc. however, now wanting to get more involved as i really do enjoy it. cheers for the advice again Ian. Simbo,

I'm not connected to DP designs, just trying to be a helpful moderator.

In each group of samples there are more than one leaflet.

So you will find low price operator  who probably up sells.

Plus your middle of the road cleaner.

The hard bit with leaflets is finding a reliable consistent cost effective  method of distribution

We have also heard on the Forum where people have put out 30 to 50 thousand leaflets and got zero  return and have left Carpet Cleaning and lost their redundancy or loan money.

i agree on distribution but thankfully  carpet not my only income as most work comes from other job referels, you guys deserve your rates for the amount of effort you put into marketing maybe one day will do the same
