Cleaning contract...help please
« on: August 04, 2006, 01:05:42 pm »
I have been asked to quote for a flat complex with 30 flats.
They have asked me to quote for cleaning corridors, stairways, dusting all accesories eg light fittings door surrounds etc etc. Also take rubbish bins out twice a week.
Not having done this sort of contract work can anybody give me some advice on pricing also would like to see a cleaning schedule if any body would be kind enough to let me have.
If at first you dont succed.......Dont try skydiving.

Try on the general cleaning section. These guys do a lot of this kind of work and should be able to help.

Simply work out how long you think it will take you, times it by your hourly rate, add on any additional costs and profit margin.........and there you have it, your price!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to say it but there is no blinding light that will come down from above to give you the answer.  You have to work it out for yourself, if you do it right you will get the job and make money, if you do it wrong you will either not get the job or worse still get the job but lose money.
