He only comes on here to try and promote his own show to put money in his pocket same with his videos promoting various products and I get that but he doesn’t give anything to the window cleaning community on the forums .

I openly admit that I use this forum to promote my show — but that’s not the only reason I’m here. The show is also about helping other window cleaners see what products are available, discover new ideas, and get some great deals from top suppliers.

Yes, I make money from the show. But it also takes a huge amount of time, effort, and financial risk to organise and run it. In the first few years, I was tens of thousands of pounds down getting it off the ground — and I didn’t hear any complaints then.

I also make videos to promote my ideas and products. If I don’t promote them, who will? If people like what they see, they choose to buy — that’s their decision. Thankfully, many suppliers now stock my products, which shows there’s demand.

I’ve been in this industry for over 40 years. I’ve built up experience and developed ideas that I believe help others. Just like the show, I advertise them.

And let’s be honest — don’t we all advertise our businesses in one way or another?

Totally get what you are saying and don’t have any issues with it , apart from you only pop up to advertise these events and then disappear until the next year , I know this irritates some they feel you are only interested in advertising yourself and trying to profit from using the forum for your own ends rather than helping Joe bloggs with his questions.
The shows are useful for new starters who want to see a lot of stuff under one roof , I came to one of them many years ago in Dorset  didn’t need anything but just came for a look back then it was very small only a few suppliers . Once you are well established I don’t feel the need to travel great distances to do that now , I feel the boom in WFP market has peeked several years ago yes new product s are still coming out but nothing that’s a game changer .

Many window  cleaners now see other cleaners using kit and will go over and ask questions about it to learn we get it a lot with our softwash set up .

This forum never ceases to amaze with the idiotic comments.

Of all the people who could be considered takers… mark munro LOL! The guy literally got off his backside and using his own time, money effort and massive risk created an entire exhibition from nothing which filled a niche perfectly.

And then, continued to do it every year, growing it, organising it, planning it etc. for the massive benefit of the window cleaning industry.

Sorry Mark, it’s just not enough. You must also be on here every day helping everyone with what pole hose to buy and brush heads. You just can’t make this stuff up!

I go to this show every year, and always find something highly useful and interesting, not to mention catch up on what’s happening. And it’s also the ONLY show you can bring kids too, so we can go without missing out on time with my daughter, and she is at an age where she finds it all fascinating and exciting.

Mark, I feel like I need to apologise in behalf of the morons on here. But please be assured there are many, many of us who are not morons and genuinely appreciate the work and effort that you have put in over the years and continue to do.

Keep up the good work, and please ignore the absolute cakes who think you should be dispensing daily advice on here instead of organising the most useful show in the industry.

I stand by what I have said he adds nothing to this forum , he comes on here once a year to get free advertising for himself  , never offers advice just promoting himself, and his channel. I expect he makes a decent living from what he does and that’s fine and what we all need to do to run a successful business, he isn’t doing it to help us though he’s doing it to pay his bills and it’s the fact that he doesn’t do anything for free to use an expression that winds me up . Please don’t apologise for what I have said I stand by every word and if you and others don’t like that then that fine I don’t  care but many feel the same way but don’t bother to post it on here as they say it’s a toxic environment. He does  exactly the  same on other forums .
