I'm kinda used to it all now.  It's seems natural to clean in the rain and I don't think twice about it.

However, it's always a different feeling after a long dry spell and a random day of rain hits us, and I think to myself, oh no, back to bed.

Now if you were still using ladders, soap and a squeegee then window cleaning in the rain is just not great really. Glass gets dirty very quickly on a newly squeegeed window if rain hits it but not when using pure water. That's the beauty of WFP!

It's changed the game...

We have grafted away from the start of the year but its not been Pleasant and your resistance and toleration is stretched, we have lost maybe a day and a half (postponed till next time), but where I think it has effected us the worst is in enquiries for new work, the phones and website have been very, very quiet, No walk up jobs either, we usually get 4-5 good enquiries a week but this year we have had only about 3 in the first 6 weeks, Peak time for new work is spring so hopefully it will dry up and pick up !!!

Just the one electric xline reel at £500 then the claber that is just there for emergency backup. The reel on top of the frame at the back is for pressure washing and cost £40 off amazon  :D

My van cost less than his reels

A wee bit of rain and everyone's complaining. Move up here and it rains every second day that's the reason I'm in and out all the time. First thing I have to do is look at the radar website to know when to pop out and try and get finished before it arrives. Last month I managed to do the morning shift and a new customer told me not to clean then because it will be raining later on. I now understand why she can't get a window cleaner.

Contradicting yourself again. Your ‘popping in and out’ to avoid cleaning in the rain, your customers are in control of how you work, not you.

Must be a slog having an average customer price of £10 yet letting them dictate your working conditions.
