That’s cos your van is stuffed to the brim, so you’ve got loads of weight on it.

Me pulling the hose reel and then the tourque of it being wound in, means if it’s just ‘wedged’ the hose reel could easily pull it out of place.

It's because the PF reelmaster weighs a ton!🤣

The plywood only goes to the edge of the tank/heater(not under it) so it's not the full length of the van floor. I change it periodically as it gets wet/tatty after a few years.
