Tap TDS

Hi team, just doing my 6 monthly service and could only get my membranes to bring the tap tds down to 004. Just checked my tap tds and its went from 067 to 094. Is it because its the summer? 🤔

I don't know.

But down here Bristol way I find a drier spell raises my tap TDS.

I wonder if it's because there is less water in the reservoirs and rivers and so proportionately more silt/mud etc.

Yea the TDS does seem to climb during a drout.  Think its when they use the reserve resevoir.

Just checked mine to see if it showed any difference, cones out the tap at 15 tds.

Near Edinburgh. It always is around 15 to 17 whenever I've checked it from the tap.

Got a free TDS meter with my drinking water jug I bought many years ago. Tested van water a few days ago and it stated 000. Then I used my other TDS meter I have four in total and it read 006. The 000 one was stuck at that level and another one was broke so I binned them. Found out we need a few TDS meters just incase.

I've had a few over the years and everyone of them reads the same tds for the wayer coming out.

Some of the water up here comes out as low as 7 tds.

Checked my tap water yesterday and its down to 080 from 094. We did have a fair bit of rain in last week.
