So in June I passed on some of my work to my daughter and son-in-law.

They have just called by to see me and have a bite for lunch.

My daughter handed me an envelope from one of my old customers which contained £25 cash and a 'best wishes' note!

Two and half years ago I had 2 heart atacks and end up having a tripple by pass emergency surgery. I was out in 5 days then a complication another open heart op, put me back in for 10 weeks. My Son worked the round and he gave me a wage. I was off for six months and gave him half of my work as a thankyou.

For 2 1/2 years customers are still asking how I was, he said he was so fed up of them asking he was tempted to say I had died
