Re: 35cm Xtreme sill brush with 4 x 1.4mm pencil jets?

I reckon I saved around 80L today just by using 4 x 1.4mm jets instead of 2 x 2mm jets

Strange really because I thought it might be slightly more due to extra jets...

I told you this last year.😉
You save even more with just two!

I honestly thought we would waste more water too, but the fact it just rinses better, wider rinse on glass, more consistent and less pressure at the 1.4mm as you say strangely you just use less water.

I used more water with 2 standard pencil jets on a small brush.

1:4 mm jets will be higher pressure than a 2mm jet not less . We found it was like using a pressure washer and got lots  of splashback off the glass with the 1:4 that we didn’t get with 2mm ones

Not when theres 4 of them. I have my controller on 70 and it's great. Using 4 x 2mm jets and the flow just isn't anywhere near as good as the 1.4 with the added bonus of saving water.

You don’t need 4x2mm jets in any brush . We have 2x2mm in all brushes and run the controller at 69 on all jobs except a couple of hotels that are less than 50 meters from the sea and covered in salt . We did  try the 1:4  jets but didn’t like them, so went back to the 2 mm been using them  for  over 20 years , had the 3 mm ones when I first started they would get through some water 😂

I'm totally converted to using 35cm brushes with 4 jets now. Its easier and faster to clean and rinse larger windows

That's the reason you have got to try different equipment and methods to see what suits. I've spent a few bob trying different ideas but it comes good in the end. It's all about helping each other to help us save time thus make more dough. 😉

Depends....sometimes i do,sometimes I don't...

I love the 35cm sill brushes because I use a carbon gooseneck for most regular work and the angle is always right whether its a sill, skylight or side window because there is always bristles on the surface
