Hi all,
Im thinking of getting a t/m and am not sure wether to go for a dual wand unit or not
im thinking of the woodbridge pro25

now i can think of all the possiive things that would come with having a dual operator unit
but wonder if theres any negative points?

I have 2 dual wand T/M's and have never owned a single wand machine but when I was looking to buy  the first one I was advised to go for the dual wand machines even if you only ever use one wand with it as it will be capable of running more hose lenths without a loss in vacuum.... just make sure the van will take the weight including a full fresh water tank ;)
            all the best

Dual wand machines are definatly better because they have the option to run two wands, in reality even with two operators on the van it is sometimes quicker to take turns wanding/ making the tea / moving furniture and placeing blocks/cards

Especially on domestic jobs, think about it cleaning a whole house starting on both floors, your both going to meet in the hallway, a 2inch hose trip nightmare! with added scuffed wallpaper,

Or worse still both operators in the average livingroom? tight for space indeed

It would be great if one operator could do upholstery and one carpet but pressures for each would need to be diffrent and chemicals require would mostly be different unless the macine has two pumps and seperate dosing system
 ( sounds expensive/complex) you could'nt do this

If it not to much more than a single wand machine go for it, better to have the reserve for when you need it but going from my experiance running truckmounts for last 3 years we have only ever dual wanded 3 times

You have to put in the additional operators wages, extra running cost ect, but if you have the use go for it. but if your that busy and have another operator maybe two small truckmount might be better?

Confused now! just remember you know your business better than anyone so get a demo and make sure you like the machine. There's no point in buying a sports car if you need a people carrier.
