I find Glass Gleam 3 the best to use i think alot on here would disagree as it doesnt make alot of suds which makes it slightly harder to get used to using it but the end result is far better >Most other solutions leave a little residue on the glass which reduces the shine, the more suds you create while cleaning the more residue on the glass and the more cleanup on frames and sills after . You need to use a lighter squeeging action with gg3 but if you work from the point of view that your stripwasher  or sponge is what you use to remove the dirt and your squeegee is used just to remove the excess water then you should be ok .Some window cleaners drag their squeegee thinking that the harder you press the more you will remove wheras the opposite is true but iof you do press really hard then fairy or its equivalent is good for you as it does make the glass alot slipperier
