«

Anyone descale their inline portable heaters and if so how and what product?
I know i could run it through from the machine and cycle it but not sure if a strong descale product would affect the machines pump?

You could try gravity feeding it with a piece of hose and funnel, put an open QC on the outlet then let the scaler fall through the heater.
Or use a weak descaler put through your pump then once its in the heater leave it overnight but flush out the pump immediately

Thanks Mike, that's a thought
I was thinking having the heater on would help it work better but I suppose dwell time overnight might make up for not having the element hot

Or run with vinegar for 10-15 min thorough your machine pump too..
