If you're looking for a 14" 4 jet wand you could try the "for sale" section!!!!

i am looking at buying a new wand, can anyone tell me what they think the best one would be, cost no problem as long as it does the job, it would be for a porty, at the moment i have an extracta with brush on bottom ,but find its too heavy and bulky, also is a single jet better than double and what are glides,,, sorry for so many questions, but know i would get sound advise  thanks

CraigP, I don't think you will find a 14" wand with 11/2 tubing, as the're all designed for truckmount use, if you insist on using 11/2 hose you will find it will fit inside the top of the wand quite snugly so it isn't a problem. The titanium wand is made by Prochem and is also 2". The West pak wand is made in USA but I believe Nick at solutions sells them new. If you buy one make sure you buy a glide as well, they are very streaky without but superb with.
Hope this helps
Dave

thanks Dave,

i would like to continue using 1,1/2 whip when i got TM, but that means i be going 2" then 1,1/2 back to "2 on the wand tube,

would that have any adverse effect on air flow?

do you use 2" all the way to wand? is it not heavy and comberson dragging "2 about?

Yes it will but depending what TM you have you probably won't notice it. Personally I prefer to keep to 2" all the way but many TM'rs prefer the flexibility the whip hose gives them, I tend to use it on stairs only where a 2" hose can get very tiring

Craig P,
you really need to spend a day with a full  time TM operator.

Criag, yes I use a single jet. It is a fan jet and internal so it has no over spray like all others do. It also

maintains heat more efficiently and to date havent found a better wand. My truck mount is a Steamway

Powermatic Legacy 2100. It has a fuel burner as opposed to a heat exchanger so is also more efficient.

Of course this is only my opinion. It has a few other goodies on it too that most dont have but look up

Steamways web and see for your self. The site isnt the best but it gives you all the info on the machine.

Best, Dave.
