window film
« on: November 24, 2019, 08:24:55 pm »
Hi All. One of my commercial jobs has had window film installed on all their windows {insides}. I normally clean them with soap and squeegee but the manufacturer of the film advises soft damp cloth {minimum soap} followed by dry soft cloths.
I can do this of course but some of the windows are above stair wells etc {fifteen foot high, not wanting to use ladders internally} and I normally use a pole and moerman flip.
Would you revert to a dragonfly type pad here?
I think the client is a bit nervous because they sent me the manufacturer's advice via email.
Cheers

If it’s just window tint film it’s very delicate and will scratch easily with mop and blade , if it’s a security film that stuff is tough as old boots you won’t hurt it .

Tinted, plastic film  bit of a pain to be honest and not sure why they had it done.
