Can anyone help me price this?
« on: June 28, 2006, 05:24:15 pm »
Could any one suggest a rough price for this job.

Please remember window cleaning is a lot cheaper up here in the north of scotland and people will not accept the prices you boys down south charge. Please bare that in mind when replying to this.

Got a phone call from local police station asking for quote.

They want all the outsides cleaned and all of the insides. They said price for the outsides only and price for the insides seperate.

I walked around the outside and took som pics. The lady who was showing me around asked if I would need to see the inside. Couldn't be bothered so just looked at a couple. She said the caretaker would come around with me if I get the contract and shift things from all the window sills etc.

P.S. I only have an unger 5 section pole (30feet) Will it reach?

clear you should have looked at the inside

the shelves will be covered with paperwork
and most computers will be next to the windows along with tables

on a building this busy a full accessment has to be made

have not got the time to put a price on it at the moment heading out
but will look in later

Clear Vision,

£80 - £100 outside
and
£100 inside

And your 30ft unger will reach

Just my suggestion

sorry clear I missed that bit about the caretaker, I would make allowances for him getting tied up happened to us in an customs and excise building, the caretaker is usually the goffer and everyone wants him so he could be popping back and forward

I recon 2 hours inside  - 2 hours outside 1 hour excess

total 5 hours based on £30 hour £150,  remember you might need to get cars moved etc

is this close to what you where thinking

Thanks guys for all your sugestions. I think you are all far too cheap :o

I cleaned another police station which was slightly smaller and only 2 stories high and got £135 and took 4 hours.

I was thinking mor in the region of £150 out & £180 inside??

Cheers guys

P.S. Pig pen! I like it squeaky ;D
