need help with fittings
« on: January 08, 2018, 02:31:45 pm »
desperately trying to find a 3/4" female to 1/2" male swivel elbow.

have done away with all garden hose from van and today was supposed to be first day back at work but the swivel elbow i bought turns out to not swivel at all and pours water out unless tightened up to the point where it does not move.

where can i get one form??

or how can i connect my half inch steel braided hose to my three quarter inch hose reel connection without using garden hose??

you must mean the shower / washer type hose i take it.     i dont think you can put anything else on your reel except the elbow brass swivel connectors
just google brass swivel connectors and all types come up,  theres a few with a screw  with a barb on you can add a pushfit onto a bit of hose on the barb i guess

look for a screw thread connector with a barb on  for a bit of 1/2 inch hose to add a pushfit onto.

Let me know because ive been going to do this.

I use a wahing machine hose under sink for my RO.   DOUBLE PLASTIC SCREW THREAD FROM LOCAL PLUMBERS SHOP, COUPLE OF QUID,    i can then screw my hoselock thread into it,  to connect to my hose

cheers johnny but i don't want garden hose anywhere along the line.

I had one of them red washing machine hose's connecting the pump to the reels but it leaked on me, water in the van is a big no no for me.

I find anything with barbs and hose's to be unreliable.
