Well I've tried this tickling method today rather than my usual splayed excessive force method.

It is easier and faster, if you pay close attention after one pass like this you can see if it needs going over, in most cases a high flow and one pass add tickling is enough.

I also tried vin's ultra fast ultra light tickle on bug marks, it does work but no easier than scrubbing hard as your brush is going 1000mph back and forth and it hurts your wrist in the same way as touching your private parts that fast would .

Conclusion - a gentle tickle for most windows and scrub the hell out of it where needed.

You don't want to push too hard or you will splay the bristles and thats very inefficient.

You want to let the bristles do the job really. If i have stubborn dirt i use a touch of bio powder and scrub that in and let those enzymes work thier magic.

i couldnt be bothered messing about with washing powder/liquid while im doing my regular window cleaning.

the truth is if you dont scrub hard and rinse well on some windows they wont be very clean when they ve dried

For baked on bird poop it saves alot of time especally when its the time of year people buy that flipping awful bird seed glue feeder..turns their poop into concrete.

Just dust on some bio powder over the bristles and scrub it in gently with some water and its desolved in seconds works good for egged windows too.

depends whats on the window in the first place.if its lots of snail trails, bug spots, sticky pollen etc then they get scrubbed hard.if their pretty clean without the above dirt then a quick tickle. ;D

i also spend time scrubbing corners of frames if they have spiders eggs nestled in there.
I pretty much do the same

Any cheap Biological powder works. It has to be bio though.

Cheers mark!

Today and yesterday were spent cleaning with much less effort with regards pressure on the brush.

I feel so much less fatigued, I could carry on for another couple of hours easily. I think the key factor for me has been that when I scrub hard I tense myself up whilst doing so, the absence of that today has been nothing short of a revelation for me.

I do also find that the bristles will do the job if you let them, although I do tend to scrub at certain things the insects and birds leave behind or deposit in the corners.
