Cleaning balcony windows.

Bit of an odd one and just wondered whether anyone else has had this.
We clean most balcony windows by manipulating the brush through the railings and cleaning the glass from the ground and most we can do ok. I cleaned one the other day and have just had a complaint that I've taken paint off the newly painted balcony. I don't think he's lying but having cleaned many over the years I've never known this. Anyone else had this problem?

I do clean one balcony the same way as you , luckily the wood is falling to its anyway . The only other way round it , which I do on another house with a metal balcony is to climb up, because of the angle I can't get to the windows from the ground
