Podcasts.  There are squillions out there.  Some are truly excellent.  Get a good podcast player like "pocket casts" - £3 or so and then start looking for areas that interest you.  The app will deal with downloading only when you're at home, etc.

My best tip though, is that if you do listen to  a podcast and it's rubbish, it won't get any better so cut your losses.

Not thought about dowloading podcasts but thats a great idea.

For now ive been using spotify and put different play lists together.
Might look into podcasts now

I'm a huge fan of Audible; I think I pay £7 a month for one book, but regularly spend the £18 to get three extra credits.

I reckon I do a book at week at least, though sometimes I go for the big ones, like the Diary of Samuel Pepys, which is 42 hours long.

I listen while working, walking the dog, or running.

I have audible aswell..I like listening to autobiographys...Johnny Vegas is amazing.. Also Michael j fox is a good book..just listening to maddie mccann story..really does make the day go faster

What's the difference between that one and the free ones mate?

The reason I have the paid podcast software is that I tried a bundle of the free ones and gave up on them.

Pocket Casts just does the lot.  You can set it to download only when on wireless and it works seamlessly; as I walk through the door it starts downloading.  It's effortless.  I have about 20 podcasts that all keep themselves up to date (as well as back catalogues for them all).

I don't care about £3 odd when I've probably listened to several hundred hours of podcasts.
