Go-cardless is fantastic.

They have just changed the pricing structure now though. 20p minimum charge.

New customers are ONLY accepted if they sign up. If they don't then tough.

What for Steve? Franchisee customers or franchisee royalties? I take my franchisee royalty every week by gocardless

Hi Matt , for franchisee customers

Just thinking ahead...If a franchisee decides to leave, I would like the transition from old to new franchisee be as smooth as possible from the viewpoint of the customer, currently customers pay franchisee directly into their bank or by cheque,

having 2 lots of bank details for the same company name on the customers bank account can cause issues,i.e customer paying to old acc no, could the same happen with GC?

Not sure if having one holding bank account and forwarding payments would be technically correct tax wise?

Is this a real potential issue for customers paying on GC?

Cons

Subject to direct debit guarantee - customers can use chargebacks to reverse the fee automatically if they don't like something. This is risky for any business because there's no time limit - a customer could have built up a huge balance, and then pull it all back at once.

Hears about the new 20p minimum but I still seem to be paying 1% . Is that just for new customers or has it not come in yet?
