Reflections south west

How long have they been on?? They look wrecked.

Have you ever greased and cleaned them? Mine have been on over a month and look brand new still, but at the end of every week I clean and wd40 them. Not sure if that will make a difference in the long run.

They are 2 years old , I do clean them and lubricate them with wd40 or silicon spray but you only have to reel the hose in once to have them covered in grit . The chunks Brocken off is due to the clips on the joiners between the microbore and the pole hose I found after the first couple of days that they chipped it works well but the rollers arnt really up to the job they arnt good quality , I keep looking for something similar size but better made haven't found anything yet , I find them noisy too due to the very poor tolerance between the roller and the shaft there's a lot of p,any in them

Had rollers in the floor since 2014 on my transit custom.

I had the blue rollers and they looked the same after 12months as the pic above.

In the end I just asked Grippatank to make a setup to my specifications from scratch.

It's not perfect YET. I just need a couple of mods and then it's epic.

MASSIVE improvement and had it designed so I can swap out and replace rollers so quickly.

Had it on the van for nearly 6 months and still fab.

Miles better than the blue ones, miles and miles. Guess what miles better lol.

My blue ones lasted nearly 2 years until i pulled one day and the hose just jammed up and nearly pulled me over! So decided on making something from scratch.

I just need to do a couple of fine adjustments and then they are perfect. It only effects one powered reel, the other powered reel is fine. £1500 reel vs £400 reel :)

Not really.

A 47foot extreme could be taken out in seconds and that's best part of £1000 gone.

These are about 3 months old now, constant hammering 5/6 days a week with a powerup reel.

I've just cleaned and oiled them up and they are like new.

Only thing I can think is that I'm not passing any metal through, it's just the hose with a protects ball on the end so is this why mine are staying in such good condition?

Metal has got nothing to do with it ;)

If you pull the hose to the sides you will
Notice the black plastic rubs on the blue metal. Give it time and it will look a complete mess :(

Those blue rollers aren't fit to pull a strand of cotton through them never mind hosepipe.
