I've had problems before with microbore both from Gardiners and cleaning spot. Funny how when I first started in 2005 hoses would last years and years. All they use now is cheap Chinese crap! With both hoses I had problems after approx 2-3 months where the inner layer had split causing the outer layer to all bubble up if that makes sense. Both suppliers didn't want to know.

So it's not just PF then but seems to be the crap they all buy to sell on.

I'm still using my original 100 m hoses from 2007 from Chic Cleaning ( Cleaning Spot ) without any issues other than a few cracked and trimmed ends which I'd expect with use - has the compound quality really changed that much in 10 years ?

Before i replaced the whole hose, someone advised to switch ends of the hose pipe. This i did, but within 2 months it started to continue to split.

I suppose the way that suppliers think they are cheap enough to replace when they fail. The easy copout they try is to blame the user even when they know the product is not going to last. They also don't want to sell stuff that is going to last years now do they.
