How come youve got water coming down your poles inorder for clamps or poles to freeze?

I used to have water trickling down pole but realised i had wrong angle for brush. Once i sorted the angle out, no more water coming back down the pole

I had the  same experience a few years back. Took a while to  figure it out. All it took was one notch on the angle adapter. Hot water helps too. The top couple of sections of pole become warm enough to evaporate the few drips that do get on there.

Well by the time I went out is was a sweltering 1c.
I'm glad it did not get much warmer as I can't stand the heat

I worked all day in -1. Had some ice build around the gooseneck but nothing to serious enough to stop working.
Was a bit nippy but manageable.

Lets start with the fact its not got much above freezing round here for the last three weeks, the gutters were packed and don’t run in the fashion that gutters that empty due to gravity do.

Fortunately it was a bungalow so couldn’t see the point in even considering offloading the vac. Hot water and a hammer is what resolved it

If you apply adequate hot water it makes gutter emptying almost balmy.

I managed 4 hours with the backpack then i sacked it off!cant wait to get my new van now.its no fun without hot water and a van mount!

Hot water on-demand does come in handy to defrost frozen gutters for sure. Mind I've never needed to use a hammer more like an ice pick
