Need some advice please I am going to buy a new pole either a slx 35ft or a xline 35ft carbon fibre both are roughly the same price I think I've just bought the mini pole from xline and it's a cracking pole and brush so was thinking of getting there 35ft pole but always here good things about gardeners .I've been using a facelift pole for the past 8 years its been a great pole but time for a change cheers Darren

Never used x line so can't really comment, for me Gardiner's have always been that good that I've never needed to look elsewhere.

surely you dont use a 35ft pole as your day to day pole?

gardiners for me.xtreme or slx.

the longer the pole the lighter the better so id always go for an  xtreme or ultimate over 30 ft.anything else will be too heavy and bendy esp at angles.
price higher/work harder!

I use a 24ft facelift carbon for day to day pole but I've just took on a office to clean I need at least 30ft pole to clean it I was going to buy 2sections for my facelift but was thinking of getting a new pole anyway was going to remove sections from the 35slx for my everyday pole.

I prefer slx22 as everyday pole, partly due to shorter collapsed length. Personally I could not be bothered adding and removing sections for different jobs.

The xline brushes are good. Never used an xline pole, but what I like about the new Gardiner poles are the self adjusting clamps which should extend the life of the pole.

x line poles are the old elite poles.I had one for 5-6 years very good a little more rigid(not as bendy) than gardiners which i now use

I use 18 for my daily pole. Many times at full extent. So light for my knackered joints.
Get the 25 with an extension on for the rest

Can't comment on the Xline poles, never used them. But I would recommend either the 25-SLX and buy the extension kit upto 35' (you can always buy the next set up too if you get a bigger job) or if you have joint ache, getting older than 35 or have enough money, get the Ultimate or Xtreme.
I've had an Xtreme 25 for a few years, mainly domestic work though, and it's been excellent. Light, not as bendy as the SLX and quite robust (although some on here will disagree with this last comment). I got the extension packs upto 44' while they were on offer, which are easy to put on quickly when required. Even easier to put on /off if you have the Exceed Univalve tubeless set-up.

I had an elite pole which is the same as xline I think I got a year out off it before  it started wearing  badly I then got an six 22 which I'm still  using over five years and still  going strong
