Hi Guys,

We have been asked for a while for this feature so have decided to get this live. It's a great way of showing appreciation, and we all lke a bit of that, especially when so many people learn, grow and share information for their businesses for the great of all and the industry.

I wonder who will receive the most likes......

Facebook also offers a dislike button, will that come into force here as well?? It might get used more

Haha I'm not sure we want to promote a "dislike"....however if you have "liked" something and changed your mind you can "unlike" it.

Valuable information is posted everyday and we feel this should be appreciated so that this continues for the benefit of all. Having 50 people like the fact that you got a new job or came up with a great marketing idea feels like having 50 people right there with you, rooting you on. It feels like we're in this together.....

It's not at all used in the same way Facebook uses their likes, Facebook uses them to delve deeper into those who have liked and their activity building a profile etc. Our "Like" feature is purely for appreciation and thanks for members.....

I think the 'like' button needs to be moved so it's underneath the name of the thread on the main page. It's too near the 'new' button when someone comments. I keep pressing the wrong button

Wow! Stress.... Came home - Checked in to CIU - two people liked my earlier comment - (A can of soup and a purple monster  ) ) Had to like their posts, just in case. I don't know what's next!
