I thought i would ask how does your website form in your local town 

How do you rate your sight for customers finding you 

With out a website how would you survive  in business trying to find more customers 

Yellow pages is 

Most directories are a thing of the past / not the future are they 

Leaflets no 

So whats new  to get more customers in your area.....

So it will be interesting to see your reply's on this thought

I've 4 websites  optimised for 2 towns, all four rank on the first page of Google, if I relied on them for work I would starve

How did you optimized them for other Towns out of your own area

Google AD WORDS or may be another way....

I have 2 sites and to be honest they have been good but the last 6 months.....dead as a coot...

people are just not spending like they did in the pass a few years ago 

Makes you wonder how the new year will be in the next few weeks or so 

Its sure is getting harder in this trade to try and make a buck or two the way things are going on in this Country 

So many now in the same trade in local towns doing the same and its all down to cheap price that makes it difficult for you to survive  in the trade i say... But in Business its the fittest survive....

Lots of my customers are also experiencing the same problem -  falling traffic and falling conversions - customers are spending less

Have you tried marketing to people who already know your business  ie customer retention and referral campaigns?  It's easier to sell to people who've already bought, especially if you;re dong a good job.

I find Adwords to be an excellent source of new customers and it works out as a very cost effective form of marketing if done correctly. You can easily add or switch off new areas, and this flexibility makes it the top marketing product in my opinion (it's each to their own at the end of the day - but I find this works for me very consistently). I pay a guy £15 per month to run my account as I don't have the time or patience to do it properly and it has been great for the past couple of years.
Obviously referrals and customer retention is the key thing, but to fill those gaps I prefer Adwords. Leafleting and local magazine advertising are the pits though!

Yep, we are aiming for 2 hrs a day  as our new year resolution.  It's a bit cold at the Moment so the early starts are hard but even now  we are getting results from the deliveries
