Cleaning metal cladding
« on: December 09, 2016, 06:50:27 pm »
Got a customer I have done work for and they have  enquired about cost to clean the metal cladding. I've not cleaned metal cladding before but have cleaned plenty of garage doors and signs.

Can it be done with wfp? Or is it a jet wash and  scissor lift job? I also imagine it's slow progress.

Coverted wfp to pressure washer pole using low pressure high flow steam seems the way to do it without a picker.

Yes you can do it with the pole we spray it with virosol or tfr scrub and rinse might be a bit time consuming if it's a large area though

Go and do a test spot 1st  ;)

We clean lots of cladding with wfp but I always do test spots before quoting

I probably did myself no favours as with the size of the building and how busy i am I first of all said that it needs a cherry picker and pressure washer.

But then thought that it could be a nice job (£) as I can get a lad on it for a couple of days. But not done it before with pole to know if it's a ballache that way.

anyway I offered to do a test section and provide a written quotewhen emailing an invoice for other work done but not heard back. Not sure I will now.
