ro upgrade ??

hi everyone, my ro membranes need changing , I'm currently using 3x 100 gpd membranes and want to change to 3x150 gpd ...is that all i need to do ? will they fit the old housing and do i need to change anything else di vessel etc .

No, you just need to replace the membranes as the housings are the same. The 150 GPD membranes are a slightly bigger diamt but they fit in ok.

What you may need to do if you have one is replace the inline restrictor to one used for 150GPD membranes. If you are using a tap to regulate your waste, then you may need to adjust that slightly to get the right waste to pure ratio.

hi spruce....i do have a tap , do i replace this with the inline restrictor if so how do i flush the system ? or does the restrictor go else where

No, your tap is fine.

What one cleaner has done is got 2 only 1/4" John Guest T Pieces, some some 1/4" tube and another tap. He sets up the first tap to obtain the right restriction on the waste and when he wants to flush he fully opens the second tap. Once he has finished flushing he closes that tap completely and the r/o then starts producing water.
