that was quick!
« on: December 05, 2016, 06:58:37 pm »
Do a big house every 3 months.

Wife is a solicitor, hubby works in banking, he's between jobs at the moment

Cleaned said house 7 times now.

First couple of cleans were hard graft.

Won't mention prices but charge a bit more than
Normal day rate.

Takes around 6 hours.
Customer getting on my nerves lately keep saying that was quick.

Added a few extra windows in  today, I wasn't gonna charge but didn't get the chance.

My money was thrust at me and no Xmas tip either😐

I know you shouldn't expect a tip but it's always the one's with the most give the least😁

End of moan.

Almost all my houses are large or very large. We get rubbish tips, we are lucky to get £100. On the other hand one of the guys who work for me has a small round of much smaller houses and he gets loads of tips!

That's right daz , rich people don't spend £50,000 on vehicles when then can spend £500 a month leasing them ! same car but without parting with all their cash

My biggest house takes half hour lol
Most pay online. No one tips online.
Got an old lass give me a tenner and said she would give me another if she knew I was coming. Hate taking of old single lasses. They really get offended if you don't, so I take it with many thanks now.
They do take longer to clean as you have to talk for ages lol

Hi Daze.
Rich and tight!
2 million plus house.

4 kids through private school 2 of which went to oxford!
funnily enough cars are both 5+ years old Hyundai i10 and ford cmax.

I'm sure they all work hard and are enjoying the fruits of their labour.

Maybe I'm wrong but heard the "that was quick" comment a few times now; have a feeling price will be mentioned soon😭

Husband is Lithuanian and only has fellow country men or Russians working on the Property.
Always hearing how hard they work (sure they do).

But I worked hard today 6 hours, 10 minute sandwich break.

Funny thing is when I quoted for the job wife was very keen, which makes me think they had a few quotes higher quite abit me thinks.

Funny a cleaning lady of another custie is Lithuanian and hates Russians with a passion saying they robbed her families lands(farm).

Oh well won't be there till March.

Wait and see if it's another case overjoyed to have a good reliable window cleaner but just don't want to pay for it

Hi Lee, sounds like a good paying job, it should be for 6 hours work, is that ins & outs or just outs, as for as xmas tips
i don't expect them, if you get them nice little touch,
if the husband kept saying to me that was quick, i would just politely say, you have a big House which takes me 6 hours
to clean, i wouldn't class that as quick. Personally I've never had money thrusted at me when getting paid, if it was done
once to me, i would take it as they are having a bad day and ignore it, if they did it the next time, then i would need to
say something, to find out what their problem was, if people are unjustly rude for no good reason, then i don't want
to work for them, good paying job or not.

" i can take longer to clean your windows, if you want, but will have to charge you more "

You'd be quick if you'd cleaned as many windows as I have.

That's why. And she's too proud to say they've got more going out than coming in ...

My guess.
It's a game of three halves!

Well put lal.

Yes in and out if I went for it could possibly knock
1 hour off the time but would be rushing.

Possible bad workmanship, and sweating  ;D

House is on 3 levels I'll try and do a google earth pic.

Not being cagey just don't want to put prices up on net all the time ;)

Same as but I'd much rather forget Xmas tips and get what I get year in year out from them it some what outweighs the tips.
