Low Water Pressure VYAIR Suggest
« on: November 25, 2016, 02:45:56 pm »
With my water pressure being low, around 30psi,  Flow rate around 12 litres per minute     VYAIR Sugest i purchase this
http://www.vyair.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=546
Well i nearly Choked on my VIENESE WHIRL,     £1200.        gOING FROM A 300 ro @ AROUND £150ISH    to this was a big shock.

There must be a cheaper solution to getting around 1500 - 2000 litres of pure a week.      I was expecting a 4040 with a booster pump but no where near £1200
Any ideas

If the issue is simply low water pressure get a booster pump.

thats what your link is, your going to be paying extra for all the cabinet stuff. You can get a good solid system from Daqua and i highly doubt you will find it any cheaper then from them. All the extra costs come from booster pump, auto shut off etc

Do Vyair still do the 400gpd pumped unit?

I had one of those & it cost less than £300 - but produced water at least 3 or 4 times faster than my old 300gpd unit.

It did burn through membranes every 10 -12 months though,.. but still a brilliant unit for the price.

Yep , that's the one , got an 11 ltr resin vessel with it too .
My water pressure wasn't too good and that's what vyair advised with the amount of water I need per day.
Like I said in another post , Iv gone from running a 300gpd for 12 hours a day to produce 350ltrs to now running this 400gpd for between 3-4 hours a day to top up my 1000ltr ibc.
It's made my life a lot easier
