Gardiners backpack pump

The flow On my backpack has dropped right down . I've had it 1 year now and use it every day . When I first used it I had the flow set half way .cos it was flying out . Now it's on full and it's not giving a good rinse . Can't complain cos it's been superb . But should I change the pump £30 . Will that make a difference and is the pump easy to change ..or buy a new backpack £110 . . Now I am a tight Yorkshire git so I would rather get a new pump . But I don't know if that is the problem . It's always fully charged up and there's no kinks in the hose . Cheers Barry .

could be the battery on its way out , try connecting the pump to a different battery to rule it out , also sometimes the pump diaphragm can get tiny bits of grit lodged in it that can cause the same symptoms .......worth dismantling and checking that first.
