Gutter clearing Heights
« on: August 09, 2016, 08:02:00 am »
Hi Everyone, just wondering what's the maximum height a decent gutter vac can work at and still be effective. Not just the performance of the machine but also how high you can manage the poles before it becomes impractical. I've only done the average semi without much hassle but often wondered how I would manage another storey. ???

I will take on 3 storey jobs now and again with a guttervac but only the ones that are not packed with sods.
That's another reason why I always conduct a full guttercam survey when called out to quote a gutter clearing job so I can see what I'm up against as a guttervac does have its limitation on what it can do.

We've done up to 4 storeys with the vacs (1250 watt machine) with no problems. I know of one customer who did a building 60ft high but I wouldn't recommend that myself as the poles become too bendy at that height!!

I have done 50' with 3600W not too difficult untill the pole gets coated inside with sludge.

Why do you think they are underpowered. Believe me Smurf if you had an  water lift meter and AN air flow jig as we have, you would not make that comment.

Just for the record can we see a vid of the 1250 compared to your largest 3 motor vac then please?
Then people can make their own minds up which one is better.
