« on: August 02, 2016, 06:41:07 pm »
Can  anyone help out, what is the best way to set-up a 2 man   reel set-up in your van,   i have the gear to setup,   , but is there a way to set it up so i dont have to leave both doors open to use the 2 reels.   and not getting in each others way.
any pics to give any ideas would be great help.
atm  im using backpack , he uses reel.      till i get a good idea as  to where i can put things

This works quite well two fixed reels and I can have up to an extra three freestanding reels run from three pumps

Should have said I have a roller system in the floor so van can be locked if needed , don't have any problems with hoses getting tangled , but isn't the best system if you want to take 100 meters of hose in front of the van , I switch between fixed reels and freestanding depending what I'me doing , fixed reels are very good for large commercial premessis , no bending over to reel in or lifting up heavy hose reels

its the roller system setup im thinking of.
how do you store the  pole back in van, with the rollers,          you dont unhook reel from pole hose  to close van doors. do you reflexions.
i think ill get sick of filling backpack up all the time.
ive took to  leaving pump on while travelling to jobs with reel hose fixed into backpack to fill up.
not the best option,     waiting for it to slip off and water all over the van floor

I fitted the hose reels and roller system myself will take some pictures and post tomorrow if you like I disconnect the pole when I put it away and connect the pole hose to a hose that returnes the water to the tank as I use hot water most of the time , this keeps the water hot and stops the boiler cutting out

I bought the orange fair lead roller under the bumper on eBay about £30 the blue rollers of Grippatank about £20 each I think fitting the blue ones in the van floor is easy just measure up and re cheak your measurements before you cut it out I used a hole saw and it fitted perfectly , the mounting bracket for the fair lead the orange roller Grippatank made up a stainless steel brack system they did an excellent job of it at a very reasonable price . Hears a couple more pics
