jammed uni valve
« on: July 25, 2016, 06:18:25 pm »
Mine stopped working this afternoon, jammed in the on position so fortunately able to continue working. But as I have a tubeless kit fitted also its going to be a ball ache to remove it and check to see if its un-jammable.
Has this happened to anybody else yet ? can it just get stuck and be freed or is it more the case just replace it ?
( 6 months daily use ) Thanks.

Never use one but I'm sure if you contact the supplier they will send out a replacement for you.

So, I've taken it out of the pole but not removed the hose ( I need to work tomorrow and don't have time to faff about replacing fittings or putting a flow valve back on reel hose ) .The mechanism still works when you pull it but does not turn water off so guessing its shot as its a sealed unit .  :(
Anybody else had one fail yet ?
Looked on exceeds website and can see nothing that mentions a guarantee  ???
Top product though - 6 months issue free. Saved me so much in water and time in the working day - not looking forward to working tomorrow without it now  :(

There is an o ring that pops off inside you can take them apart, but if you contact Steve he will post you out a new one under warranty.
