Hey all
Not that anyone on here would fall for this type of thing

but just had a call from someone purporting to be from Yell.com.
He said I was due a refund due to the fact that they had taken the years' payment out twice - so £240 was due back to me. I pay monthly to Yell and it sounded like a young lad sat in his front room. So when he asked for my card details I gave a bogus number, expiry date and security number.
His voice changed to really pleased - obviously thinking he had mugged another sucker- snd thanked me for my time and said I should get a refund withing 7 to 10 days. At this point I asked if many people fell for this type of poop and I also told him I thought he was pure scum to be ripping off hardworking

people.
He became flustered and hung up. Of course the number was withheld.
Just a heads up for the latest scam doing the rounds
