Do any of you guys
With your wfp set up have it bolted in
Or do you secure with straps

Bolted Every time, straps will fail in a big accident.

No they wont.
How do you think wagon drivers go with 40 ton loads.
If its up to a bulkhead with straps, its wont move anywhere

You have choices here.

1. Buy a crash-tested system and be pretty certain it's all safe (there'll be someone along in a  while to tell you why that isn't so)

2. Bolt a tank in yourself and hope that the forces involved in a crash won't overwhelm your fixing system (someone'll be along shortly to tell you that they did that and their tank's just fine)

3. Use ratchet straps, possibly combined with being up against the miraculous Magic Bulkhead of Infinite Strength and hope that when you have an accident it all works (someone'll be along in a moment to "prove" that the laws of physics don't apply if you use the Magic Bulkhead of Infinite Strength.  For extra humour they'll make a joke about buses, just you watch.)

So, it's up to you.  You'll almost certainly never have an accident in your van so you'll hopefully never find out if you chose wisely.

Me?  I chose crash-tested.

I had a crash van  got written off.
Took the system out which was only bolted through floor with metal plates

So just to clarify. You had a crash in a van and you and your system worked. It was bolted down!
In a cage, or a crashed tested cage ir using cargo straps to points bolted in the van?
Since you bothed survived, it will help others on here.

Ive both

A crash tested Grippa system and a rachet strapped to bulk head both 500 litres

Sad to say my once and only  I've had a crash or an impact into practically stationary double flat bed trailer in a Mitsubishi Outlander with a rachet strapped system 350 stank in the boot strapped to seats at 50 mph the car was written off

The tank was full and never moved

Will I choose another Grippa fitted possibly although I'm happy with my rachet system, and to be fair I can't be bothered to do things myself anymore, I've fitted systems  for over 10 years  years ago but would I be so daft as to strap a tank to plastic bulk head or in a van with no bulk head just to fixing points no, I would want something solid to strap to

so in answer to question I've both and happy with both
