1st Truck Mount
« on: May 16, 2006, 07:34:54 pm »
I'm thinking of taking the plunge and purchasing a truck mount. Currently I do mostly domestic with some small commercial. I would like to expand the commercial element and hopefully speed up the domestic. I will also be looking at tile/grout and other hard flooring.
From those that took this step what should I be looking for as a minimum.
Many thanks

Nigel

Depends on your budget. But you should take a look at the prowler I had one on loan for a week so as my blazer gives up the ghost I will be getting one

as a minimum i would suggest a diary full of work, just getting a truck-mount won't bring the jobs in.

Thanks for the responses.

Coilin - I am aware that the power of the machine does not in itself guarantee work. However, I feel that there are benefits to running a truckmount, speed of cleaning, and new/different opportunities.
My question is aimed at determining if there is a minimum performance from the unit which should be aimed at, and that those who have purchased t/m have either, or maybe wish they had met. Do you use a truckmount yourself?

Steve - Following this message board for some months I am aware of the Prowler and it is on my list. I presume from your response you feel this machine is every bit as good if not better than your current setup?
