Camera pole mount
« on: November 13, 2015, 03:04:16 pm »
Afternoon chaps.

I've got a 45 ft pole which I'd like to attach a camera to, to check guttering and solar panels.

Could anyone recommend a good site to find such a thing?

Don't really want to purchase a gopro as I'm on a budget.

Cheers Tom.

Cheers guys.

I've got a digital camera I was just going to try and strap to the end of the pole, just looking for the attachment really.

Try searching eBay  for a real  sjcam sj4000 action cam as there are a lot of fakes being sold on there.

To fit that type of gopro cam a handle bar  mount works well.

To be honest I would not use a digi camera as you will soon knacker it.
Not only that you will not be able to see what you are looking at in real time from the ground as it don't have wifi. This is the most important thing to have when clearing gutters etc which saves a lot of time rather than trying to do it blind. I also use a roll cage mount to mount a gopro on my guttervac heads.

If  you are still  wanting to use your digi camera instead then have a look on fleebay as all you need is a handle bar monut and a gopro type fitting with a standard screw camera mount to fit on that.

do you mean something like this:
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/indoor-specialized/photography-sound/alloy-camera-mount-new.html
You can buy 20 in 1 packs of attachments on Ebay with adjustable angles for £20-25 or the above if angles don't matter.
