I have a HF5 40/40 and this booster pump-

Whats the best way to make it fully "automatic" ie when the static tank empties when filling the tank in the van the pump will switch on. Then when the required level is met in the static tank the pump and water supply shuts off

I still marvel when I fill up the van and hear the pump fire up to fill the static tank. One big thing to not worry about any more. Always a full tank.

It has a power interrupt that engages when the water stops. The water is cut off once the float valve engages. Oh, you need a regulator too.

There certainly is - however these are full system controllers with various other features. Obviously if those features are not required on your particular system, then a simply one time shut off solenoid is all that would be needed.

I just have good water pressure so I wouldn't  need something  like that ☺
