Our water pressure is very low as you can see. Can you recommend a booster pump please? Thanks

This depends on what you want to use it for. A 4040 uses much more water than a 300 GPD r/o, so you would require a different booster pump.

How many liters a minute to do get from your tap fully open at this low water pressure?

Is the water pressure low throughout the house?

Do your neighbours also have low water pressure? If this is an issue just with your taps, is the main stopcock fully open? Is the stopcock under the sink (usual place) also fully open?

There have been lots of posts on here over the years regarding low water pressure. You will find them by doing a search under booster pump in the window cleaning section.

Thanks Spruce I use a 300gpd system.
From the tap we get approx 10 ltrs per min.
The tap water is 270 ppm and after the RO its around 70 ppm.
The system takes about 4 mins to produce 1 ltr of pure water.
Ive checked the stopcock and everything is open fully.
Not sure what else to try?

Try this guy he is window clearer and knows his stuff my pump I got from him is working for 6 years every day none stop.http://www.johnhewitt.com/pumps.htm
Also your R O membranes is on the way our when you get your pump backwash for an hour and see if the tds drops as it should not exceed 27 on your water.
p.S  The pump is £51. WHEN YOU NEED TO BUY A NEW MEMBRANES REPLACE YOUR 100 GAL MEMBRANES WITH A 150GAL  FROM GAPS WATER YOU WILL THINK YOUR ro IS JET PROPELLED.SORRY FOR CAPS.

I'm inclined to agree with slap that your membranes are suspect. It maybe because your water pressure is so low, so I would get a booster pump first. If your tds after the membrane doesn't improve then you need a new membrane.

At 270 ppm input you should expect an output after r/o of about 6 or 7ppm.

If yours is a 3 membrane housing unit then upgrading to 150GPD membranes are a cheap, cost effective upgrade. However some of the suppliers are fitting 2 x housings with 150GPD membranes, so the only upgrade is another housing (making it 3) with another 150GPD membrane. A kit will give you everything you need, ie., fittings, pipe, T pieces etc.

If you have one of those single housing Streamline membranes then you can upgrade that with another to make it 600 GPD.

You will need to check with your supplier if your booster you buy will keep up with a 600GPD setup.
