May have a major water shortage
« on: August 28, 2015, 01:38:02 pm »
It looks like the new tank I've had installed has sprung a leak, I'm hoping it's not draining down more than its filling, as it's our busiest week next week.

Can't get it sorted until at least next weekend.

Would anybody be able to provide us with water in the Swindon area if we run dry?

Cheers

I know, bloody nuisance.

It looks like there's around 1000-1200 litres in the new tank so far. Going to leave it running all weekend in the hope it fills

Swindon area?

Just nip in to Ionic's factory, I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

When I had my machine fitted there, they had several HUGE 4,000 litre tanks of pure water that they use for testing etc.

Also I'd be having serious words with whichever cowboy supplied your tank.  I'd want a refund (or at least some money back) and I'd want it repairing, with any out-of-pocket expenses re-imbursed.

Tank is 3400 full capacity, with 3200 using float valve and auto shut off if I have this installed at a later date with new 40/40 RO. Wanted to see how we do using a bigger tank first before splashing out on new RO though.

Good shout with Ionics Pete. Will call them now just to check.

Cheers
