I would leave that sort of thing to a conservatory install firm myself as you run the risk of damage to the plastic frame covers as they may break when you try to take them off.  I'm sure the seals should be fixed to the frame covers anyhow so if they do the whole frame covers will need to be replaced.

I do many conny repairs. Pull the rubber out and clean with IPA  then insert a silicon gun and apply a small amount on the roof sheeting with a small cut opening in gun nozzle then slip the rubber back in  as it came out. Its is an old conny the one in the pic.
I am not sure. but some times the pvc cover that holds the roof panel down can just be lifted up to expose the roof sheet and is put back by using a rubber mallet.
Use IPA on a cloth to clean any silicon on the roof sheets or PVC/

What is ipa, and also one of the plastic sheets has moved down an inch, it can push up easy enough just wondering if it's attached to anything and has come unclipped from the top

the roof is whats known as a comb stephen, basicley transom/mullion sections welded together and makes for a cheap roof, the rubber is just a wedge gasket that pushes the external bead outwards to make,in this case the polycarbonate secure, slap bash is correct as  in running a bead of clear silicone between the bead and polycarbonate and then pushing the wedge gasket back, don't walk on these roofs though as they are not load bearing

IPA is rubbing alcohol ( of e bay  ) the cap strip should be able to removed as it just fits in a slot on the metal structure of the rood. It is a old one but try and remove it by lifting it up and moving the sheeting up and use a little silicon to stick it down before putting the strip back. Its because the capping is loose and the rubber loose that the sheet is slipping. The capping strip hold the roof sheeting tight. Hope this helps.

After never seeing a conservatory in my life before I had a job like this.  I practically rebuild the conny larger that the one in the pic my bill after three days work was 1500 quid. The customer was thrilled with the result as the professionals  wanted 18,000 to replace it. I still clean the conny today and it looks like new. With the one and a half grand paid for my start up in window cleaning. Most of the equipment I still use to this day. So take it easy on some one wanting to make some bucks. If you don`t try you will never win. Fears is what keeps us from achieving our full potential.
