:) Its good to have a day off mate. Does Darren work on his own on Fridays?

I went over it quite a bit last year. Now things have settled down outside of work (wedding, honeymoon, generally being lazy) I have a meeting with the accountant to work out the best way forward. Its good to grow etc but it always feels like there's a hinderance from 'the powers that be'.

8weekly

You can defer it Matt by going limited. I went limited in April just before hitting the threshold. It resets the clock. I will have to do it in the coming months as we are trading month on month above the threshold but we haven't accumulated enough this year to reach it yet. There are two of us full time.  Two people can easily reach the limit.

He's got his own stuff to do on a Friday.

That's good for you then you don't have to employ him.

Very true 8weekly. The difficulty is getting to a point after the threshold whereby paying the 12% isn't so nasty... But then it's time to start looking for someone else = more expense and aggro.
