Solar Panels
« on: July 15, 2015, 09:26:30 pm »
Hey Lads,
Just wanted to know what size pole to clean a regular semi-detached house. Just trying to see if the cost is worth it.
Thanks, Phil.

Depends on the pitch of the roof and if you can get to them with a long pole or not I suppose.
Most I've seem around my way are not straight forward to clean from the ground.

For a better clean on solar panels from the floor won't do it in some cases, better off with a mini max tower then your up  there and you  can see what your doing. What I do is work out what time to set up scaffold and move about and put back in van, also time to clean/chat/ brew/ cakes etc

Thanks for the feedback,
Could make it cost prohibitive for the customer with the added expense of  scaffold. :'(

1930's semi - I use my extreme at 47ft
More modern then 42ft
It's a game of three halves!

xtreme 47 with a 90 degree gooseneck and flocked SL brush.i clean a few for my regulars every year.not worth shelling out a grand for a pole unless you have other high level work IME though.i just about make mine pay with around 10 regular window cleaning jobs a month using the 47 footer.
price higher/work harder!

Brew and cakes is so yesterday. You need to train them to serve Eton Mess with Meringue, cream teas or bakewell tart.

Really! Brew and cakes. So so yesterday  :-X  :-X  :-X
