Personally I love pressure washing, as not only do you get brilliant cleaning results, and customers appreciation, but once you turn up for a job you can be there all day without having to move the van !
Time flies as well, you get in the " Zone "  ;D

I know we spoke about this already as an add on (deep cleaning hard floors) perfect for any window cleaner as you know your clients and they all have hard floors, this segment of cleaning is wide open and is really untapped as most guys don't realize how easy it can be to tap into this market, set up costs are minimal 150 quid and you are in a position to start earning 50 quid or more per hour, no back breaking work required as when you have the right solutions these deep cleaning tasks are relatively easy to carry out with results that give great job satisfaction as your clients will be over the moon with the finished results, no training required as the method we have developed can be used safely and effectively on any type of natural stone or hard floor, i am happy to share more information under no obligation for any guys who are interested, we are so confident with the results that our hard floor cleaning system will achieve on your clients hard floors  that if you are not able to earn 50 quid or more per hour or you are not happy with the finished results achieved we will offer a full refund of your 150 quid and we will also cover any return postage costs, regards Tadgh  info@jskcleaning.ie

You have a little goldmine there Daz, not many compact rounds these days.     We have probably a 200 sq mile area to cover, and all spaced out !

dont forget its also hard work!pressure washing gives you numb hands and a sore neck from looking down instead of up!its messy and noisy too.

id rather clean decent priced regular large domestic window cleaning jobs any day over pressure washing.

the extra faff, extra expense etc is not worth it for me as a sole trader plus you need the room in your van for lugging the extra equipment around.(which is heavy!)

Daz you've hit the nail on the head!
To be honest I don't know if I'll get on with pressure washing or not. After all i'm not the biggest of guys 10st 7. I'm built for speed.  That's why I need to try it first before I commit myself to a bigger van etc.
Which brings me back to my original question of does anyone know any courses or fancy a hand for a couple of days?
Thanks again for everyone's input.

I went on a course a couple of years ago run by the water jetting association https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDgQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.waterjetting.org.uk%2Ftraining&ei=DMaCVcaKKMe1sQSl2rLADA&usg=AFQjCNEIvHfnvQnIKWUZagFiwYZevaDEeg

They cover more the health and safety aspect, rather than the practical side, but it is very good, and you get a city & guilds qualification.

You are welcome to come on a job with us, or I can talk you through the setup, and methods.

Pressure washing is a brilliant job - personally I'd have never cleaned another window if I could have gotten enough pressure washing to keep me going full time!

It does have a bigger learning curve and much higher equipment and running costs - but even so I found it more profitable. AND it has awesome job satisfaction,... washing windows that are fairly clean already never bought me much joy, but pressure washing a filthy driveway & seeing it completely transformed really feels like you're achieving something. :)

Great post - that's why I haven't cleaned a regular customers windows for ages - cane bear it no more !!

Been pressure washing almost 2 years, booked up pretty much all the time, always something different coming along and if you window clean you have a great customer base to start from
