My Toyota Hiace scrubbed a set of budget tyres out on the front in less than a year. Fitted Michelins and no wear at all. Must be the weight on cornering I think.
Car goes in the garage today ......if it gets that far.

Dave, the garage put on my van "auto grip Eco van" tyres. They almost look like a jeep tread, but 7000 miles in and absoloutely no wear on them. Great tyres for a hiace. About £75 a tyre too.

We have two Puegeot Boxers - horror of all horrors - only buy new with warranty - you will need it

We have two New Ford Transit (the big ones) 30k on one and 15k on other both seem ok at the moment
Will steer clear of the one you have for sale then. Thanks for the heads up.  ;D

There is one thing that never ceases to amase me it that one owner will have no end of trouble with a vehicle and the next owner never has a single problem. I saw it time and time again in the motor trade.

I have a Boxer. I've had it from about 50,000 miles to 90,000 over three years and other than a wiper motor and a frayed wire in the door it's not missed a beat. It does currently have an oil leak (looks like from a pipe) which needs sorting asap. Other than that I have been very happy with it.
