Just take your average normal rate for 2,3 and 4 bed houses and double it as they will take twice as long.
Although for fascias etc I don't charge as much as I would on residential as there new fascias just covered in dust, normally very quick to clean with the pole.

Wouldn't touch a builders clean for less than £100, but if there's a potential contract for 83 houses, may be worth doing for a little less.

Try and work out how how long it would take you to earn well over your normal hourly rate on each property. Not worth the hassle in my opinion, if you're just going in at an average days earnings.

when i done them the contractor was paying £30 per house,    a pain getting concrets off gutters and high facia boards,  doors, garage doors.    i was going to walk away  but got stuck in .   i dont do them now.   i was the 3rd cleaner they had , the next person will be the 4th.
i did these in march , im still waiting for my payment.       they told me storey homes pay every 60 days,    1/may i was told i will get it,  ill wait and see.

make sure you have an email or writing stating payment date to be paid after invoice.

johnny 30 pounds for a builders clean per house ? that sounds way way to low to me for all the bother they are.
i did one once, it took me way longer than i estimated, plus i underpriced it, i vowed never again.
if i get asked to do them now i say no, i only do maintenance cleans only, how many house's did you do in the end.

Best regards
Lal

You need to be more specific Rich. What do they actually want pricing? Just windows cleaned in/out or will you be doing all the de-taping too? There's a big difference between the two.

The £30 price above sounds about right just for external window and frame clean. If you were de taping and cutting in the internals for that price then unlucky for you.

Those saying they will be full of silicone/cement/glue obviously don't do this type of work so ignore them, national house builders work simply isn't like that.

The fascias / soffits will only need a very quick brush over, as has already been said.

I do lots of this type of work and can assure you glue, cement, silicon especialy on commercial builders cleans are caped on the windows unless you are lucky and they have them covered up or are careful!!
I did a travel lodge builders clean in january over in Egham and was covered in stickers, cement, silicone the lot..was a knightmare of a clean!.
I charge day rate plus travel on builders clean work sometimes its a short day and others its a long tireing day but as long as day rate is paid then im happy to do them.

Read my post again.

I said "national housebuilders work won't be covered in cement or silicone." I cover 17 sites, usually cleaning between 5 and 15 plots per week, have been doing this work for about 4 years now and have NEVER had to remove silicone, and very rarely cement. Of course every window will have a sticker that needs scraping off but that takes all of 10 seconds and can be done from inside.

You'll find the smaller local builders will make a right mess with silicone/cement/render but we are talking about the nationals here.

When I did some for a local builder he just told me what houses to do and I billed him afterwards for the hours worked. These windows weren't covered but had the odd bits of silicon/cement/plaster and stickers to remove. My job was to make the brand new windows and frames look brand new.
Out of interest I once worked out how much I was earning per window cleaned both sides it was approx £5 per window.
I would do builders cleans again for someone I trusted on the basis I Bill afterwards for how long it took. I would be extremely wairy of doing this for a fixed price as I had one job where two external pvc doors took twice as long to do as the rest of the house as someone had decided to "protect" the doors with gaffa tape that took hours to fully remove! I hadn't even noticed the tape when I priced the house up, so who knows what delights you could find on 83 new builds.
